Jakobsen Takes over Tour Of Guangxi Lead
Quick Step's Fabio Jakobsen is the new leader of the Tour of Guangxi after victory on stage three.Nanning was the setting for stage three which saw four laps making up a 125.4km course and it was one that saw British rider Owain Doull of Team Sky, get into a break with Manuele Boaro (Bahrain-Merida), Nathan van Hooydonck (BMC) and Jasha Sutterlin of Movistar.Their lead was mainly around the two minute mark as the rain came down and Doull, the most aggressive rider of the day, took the sprint after 93.6kms. But then the gap started to fall away and with seven kilometres to go, they were caught and Fabio Jakobsen took the win in a sprint ahead of Pasck Ackermann, Max Walscheld and Dylan Groenewegen who loses his leader's jersey to Jakobsenread full article
