The cyclist on ambition, Olympic gold and delivering newspapers for his gran Born in Edinburgh, Chris Hoy, 41, won a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, then another three at Beijing in 2008. At London 2012, he won his fifth and sixth golds, becoming the UK’s most successful Olympic athlete of all time. Since retiring in 2013, he has launched Hoy Bikes and co-created the Flying Fergus series of children’s books; the eighth, Trouble On The Track, is out on 1 March.
